Primus Merch Review

Primus fans are a passionate bunch. They proudly brag about the number of shows they’ve attended, the t-shirts they’ve collected and the depth of their discographies.

The band entered the stage almost unseen, kicking off the set with a selection from their earliest release, Frizzle Fry. They continued with more early favorites.

Tours

After a hiatus lasting 7 years, in 2006 Primus resumed touring. Their month-long Beat a Dead Horse Tour started in November of that year and included a performance on the popular music video game Guitar Hero 2, which featured the song "Wynona's Big Brown Beaver." They also played several festivals including Rothbury and Outside Lands in California.

In 1995 Primus released their fifth album, Tales from the Punchbowl. It was their most successful to date with two singles reaching the top ten of the Modern Rock charts. The most successful was the aforementioned "Wynona's Big brown Beaver," which also had an accompanying claymation music video.

Since reuniting, Primus has released a number of albums and DVDs while members have taken on many other projects. Les Claypool has released two solo albums, toured with the band Fancy and starred in the film Electric Apricot.
